We’re planning schemes of work, preparing resources, organising and preparing the classroom etc. We don’t have 6 weeks holiday. We have a holiday for 2-3 weeks and then prepare for the year ahead. We also need a break mentally and emotionally. Teaching is a vocation and as such we give a lot of ourselves to the students. errrr what a stupid comment teachers have been working all through the lockdown have you? so do you think it’s going to be the way to go in the future teaching from home, it will save money in addition to having to create a whole new system of schooling in a matter of days no.

Us teachers have been working flat out since schools closed and many have even taken to online platforms to deliver lessons. In fact, many teachers have seen their work-life balance dissolve because our workload has immensely increased.
